Let me let you in on a little secret. The old age of imperialism is currently in the process of ending. In a world of advanced technology and nuclear weapons, it is no longer possible for a single nation to dominate the whole Earth without completely destroying it in the process.

As a result of this massive change in circumstances, the age of empires shall now end. The American empire is currently in the process of disintegrating, the humiliating Afghanistan debacle being a glaring example of this. Trust me though, it's for the best.

What we will now enter into, once this transformation is complete, is a new age of unprecedented peace, understanding, and wisdom, where nations do not try to dominate the other but instead work together, viewing one another as equals and together forging a much brighter future for all of mankind.

Of course, we have a ways to go before we get there, and it could get quite ugly before then. But that said, this transformation is inevitable as it is the only logical path to take under the present circumstances.

The alternative is nuclear annihilation for everyone, the destruction of a large percentage of Earth's habitable biosphere, and a future involving lots of radioactive particles interfering with everyone's daily life, a life where people have to fight just to survive, Mad Max style.

I think you know which one is better for humanity. Thus, this will be the chosen path in the end.

The Cold War was a difficult time for the world and we've seen unprecedented peace in the world since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Instead of fighting proxy wars or actual wars, we just bomb the shit out of fringe nations and rogue groups. THAT'S peace! You're incredibly naive to think that "nations will work together" when there are multiple great powers because that's never happened in human history. What's your next prediction?
