i did, and you know it. at this point you're not really replying to me, you're performing for an audience. i directly asked you three or four times, and not once have you addressed it specifically. the best you could come up with were vague evading replies, insisting that your statements weren't conflicting, while avoiding elaborating on what "not having to depend on complete strangers for personal safety" means - if it's not the lazy pro gun talking point that nra npcs usually bring up at that point of a conversation.
it's obvious to anyone actually reading your conflicting statements that you were caught in a lie, but don't have the character or balls to admit it, so you resort to muddying the waters, looking for "support" from people who never read the conversation, have no arguments to add on topic, but simply share your personal feelings towards me. it's ok, we both know what happened, next time just try to keep your story straight. it's not like it makes a difference to me if you claim to own a gun or not, you're a liar anyway...
concerning the common sense findings about firearms i fully agree: it's weird that so many gun nuts reject those FACTS and act like owning a firearm is a net safety gain, when it's statistically proven to be the opposite. it's just decades of nra propaganda and lies i guess - something you're very obviously familiar with and prone to believing, as the post that started this whole back and forth between us perfectly illustrates...
Lol bro this entire exchange is you trying to tell me I lied about owning a gun, or not owning a gun, i don’t even know what lie you think I am telling, or how it is even relevant. I don’t belong to, or even really pay attention to the nra. You insinuate I am some sort of nra supporting gun nut when I am simply saying your argument is shit. It is entirely possible and likely I can agree with things the nra may say and not be some insane nut job gun nut.
I am in no way looking for support from anybody I have been telling you, username fender, if you have a direct question, instead of hyperbolic accusations about my character, I will be glad to answer and clear the air.
Why do you feel so strongly about me not owning a firearm, yet at the same time supporting the right to have one? It is almost as if when people don’t fit outrageous stereotypes the argument absolutely crumbles.
