More followup on that story: The prosecutors say they resigned because the Manhattan district attorney directly told them there wasn't evidence of a crime for an indictment. I mean, that was the obvious subtext of the previous story, but now its confirmed. The attorneys wanted to press their baloney case, Bragg put his foot down and said no, and they threw a fit and resigned on the spot. Its obvious to anyone with eyes to see, that they are desperately searching for a pretense to charge Trump, and still fell short. Like Beria, but less competent: "Show me the man, and I'll show you the not-really-a-crime-can't-prosecute-it-oh-well"

Bill Barr, quite unsolicited and with absolutely no power in this case now that he's a private citizen writing books, chimed in and bluntly stated he would not have charged Trump on these same grounds. Which was obvious whether you believe he's a Trump partisan (he's not) or whether you actually paid attention to his sincere ideological stance of depoliticizing the justice department even if it meant letting bad actors slide (like Ilhan Omar). Naturally it gives the media another round of headlines to use Barr as their punching bag, so it might spare DA Bragg some of the criticism.

Trump will win against Biden and Harris. To think after the complete and absolute failure that their would be even a chance for Biden is dumbfounding.
