What more of the black experience would you cut and what would you teach of LGBT history that requires more than a week? Keep in mind that American history starts about 400 years ago whereas LGBT history is a recent phenomenon.

Even if we assume he tried to rape her, that doesn't mean blacks started it. In fact, that means the exact opposite. The mob was there to kill him, not to exact justice via the courts. If somebody shows up to your neighborhood and tries to lynch somebody, even if they are guilty, they are starting it. We agreed hundreds of years ago in Western society that justice is not carried out by the mob.

You've disproven your own argument.
