here in Ontario need vaccine now to enter the gym and seeing people wear masks well working out still yet everyone in the room has the vaccine

We don't have to wear masks in Nova Scotia at the gym but the vaccine passport is required to get into all non essential businesses now.

Overall it's just the gov't trying to push people into getting vaccinated and I'm fine with it.

With that said I don't think it will work at all given many small businesses have zero capacity to be checking people at the door. It also puts terrible onus on the small business employees who have to deal with irate idiots who are just out to make a scene. I don't personally see the 16 year old student worker bouncing these lunatics.

It's ultimately horribley flawed and the government has put all this on the small business owners while sort of washing their own hands clean and offering no real solutions of how it should work without destroying small businesses. It's not well thought out.

do they require mask and a vaccine verification by govt order? if so this is a ridiculous requirement. no vaccine certification and masks fine, vaccine certification no masks fine. requiring both is anti-science and anto-business as the onus as SBD said is on some random person with zero authority to enforce anything

if people want to wear 5 masks alone while lifting in the corner while vaccinated thats their choice.

not sure about gyms, but for dine-in you have to come in wearing a mask, and show both ur vaxx certifications. and ye it is a mandate

Only order I saw in Ontario was a vaxx mandate in areas that are considered high risk. Nothin about masks tho

Yes both are required. You can't wear a mask to escape the vaccine passport requirement. How does some poor bugger watch the cash, verify people at the door and do all the other little duties you normally do when running an establishment.


Id be putting in two cases of coke or something and calling my place an essential service (grocery store). But then again that didn't work out for the local scuba shop and he took a hefty fine.

Id expect safety measures to be dropped once most folks are vaccinated. In the mean time i don't really see the harm in trusting the folks with medical degrees.

I won't be going to gyms or bars until the pandemic blows over but for restaurants you don't need to wear a mask while at a table.
