mask mandates might be the most ineffectual govt action in 100 years. i havent heard of almost any enforcement, and WI police departments said publicly they wouldnt enforce them. only when private businesses call them.

they did shut down a few businesses deemed non-essential, but that was for about 1 week then they were back open in WI at least.

Covid killed fewer teens and kids... after we did mask mandates, shut down a good portion of the economy, and totally changed the way we live our lives. By comparison, the flu under these conditions was virtually non-existant.

No opinion on this topic because I'm tired of the covid talk in it's entirety. We still have thousands of businesses closed, mask mandates, and lockdowns. And daily rioting, here. So different scenario.

I agree that "mask mandates" are stupid, lockdowns are stupid, occupancy mandates are stupid. In the end, stick with the Constitutionally Guaranteed rights of the People, and it'll work out.

The vaccine is a hard-earned human-created miracle, and should be 100% the emphasis, not the mask/lockdown bullshit. That's my opinion, anyhow. So far, nothing that's occurred in the last 14 months has proven me wrong.
