Latinos/Hispanics etc is such a broad label. People from Spain & Portugal generally consider themselves white for the most part, which makes sense considering they are continental euros. Many Latino/Hispanics in the western world are at least part Spaniard/Portuguese. Some do have afro roots or various type of indigenous roots but again considerable white roots.

The half of the population that is male doesn't pretty much mirror demographically the half that is female. ~ T-cock, 2021.

I mean, that's why we use the modifier "mass" when referring to this type of tragedy. People only care about these type of shootings because it might affect THEM. If 20k people in the ghetto die, no one cares unless there is an election soon. If 10 people die in suburbia, it suddenly requires national attention.



I wouldn't say unkind but I understand your point. The discrepancy isn't large enough to warrant a second look. However, given the amount of jimmies that are rustled by the "myth," I think I'll continue to perpetuate it on this forum. Let's agree on this:
1. Ragheads disproportionately cause mass shootings
2. White people kill within the margin of error or slightly higher than expected depending on where you cut it off (I don't want to do the top 50 because that's more work than I'd like to do).

...and as was previously pointed out, given the small number of instances, these percentages are within a margin of error for statistical purposes.

I didn't want to use the above link due to the liberal use of mass shooting. People don't care about all of mass shootings (sometimes defined as 4 people INJURED). This is why I only used the deadliest ones (top 25 in my link). Obviously that will result in a very high margin of error. You would have been correct either way unless you use lower confidence levels so I concede that point.
