CO2 levels were 1000+ ppm during the Mesozoic era and it was one of the most fertile periods for plants and mammals.

its literally the only field where computer models attempt to simulate a system with infinite variables, but struggle to simulate the past despite known variables

not to mention that the opinions are more divided than the media has people believe, at my university a very well known climate researcher got cancelled and his article for the IPCC not published, because he suggested that the so called "CO2 budget" may be much bigger

Global cooling had less than a dozen papers in the 70's and 80's that basically amounted to "These observations suggest that cooling might happen, but its far from conclusive". A few media outlets ran with it while ignoring the hundreds of papers that said "Yeah, this is pretty clear that the trend is warming"

and now conservatives cherry pick a few stories from the 70's and 80's to say "HA, LOOK, THEY USED TO SAY IT WAS COOLING BUT NOW THEY SAY ITS WARMING. THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!" even though the consensus has been, for over 50 years, that the larger trend will be warming.


So I'll just say that you are falling for propaganda, and should look at the actual evidence and scientific consensus.

i am not falling for anything, however i am among the few people that know the difference between proof and conjecture, theory and reality

what you call proof is not more than a hint

there is no proof how much emissions actually influence the climate, there is no proof for increasing disasters, there is no proof for these scenarios the panicmongers talk about

its all based on computer models that are nowhere near capable to tell how temperatures are in 30 or even more years

i am as much for protecting the environment as anyone, however all these climate apocalypse scenarios are pure bullshit

earth has been both cooler and warmer in human history and warmer has been better every single time, an arctic without ice is pretty normal

there are much bigger problems like overpopulation, pollution and overfishing of the oceans

most predictions from the past have already been debunked

This makes it clear you are not willing to learn on this subject. If you were, you would have done research already and would know there is much more than "hinting" at humans causing global warming. (The vast majority of the evidence is physical observation, and virtually all of our models have under-predicted the warming trend)

So if you want to learn on the subject we can discuss it, but you have to be open to actually learning about the topic.
