The point that I'm making is that what happens/ed after the election is not particularly relevant to people making decisions for who to vote for every 4 years. Between the two messages, the Republicans have a much more appealing, hopeful message with coal miners than the Democrats do.

So long as you attribute stupidity to Trump supporters and, even if facetiously, believe that they should be 'rounded up', you'll miss the reasons why 70+ million people voted for him. If you don't want Trump to win, then it would behoove any political movement to understand what motivations, needs, and reasons people have that resulted in them supporting Trump.
