Lol. Just lol. Do you seriously think that these deferred taxes will ever be paid? It's crystal clear that this can will be kicked down the road again and again and eventually thrown onto the pile of the national debt.
There's no way in hell the economy and people's personal finances will be in great shape again come April (when these taxes would be due), so the Biden or Trump administration and Congress (in whichever configuration) will have no other choice than to extend the deferral. The next time it comes up, in the fall or winter of 2021, it will be the same story. And the next time after that, it will already be too close to the midterms and the issue too politically toxic.
By late 2022 or whenever there would be the first real chance to force repayment without killing the economy, everyone will have forgotten about it or just go "fuck it". It will be the like the Bush tax cuts, which took on a life of their own, ending with 82% of their volume being made permanent by the Obama administration 11 years later.
