I've met very few white people who have bad stories about dealings with the police, and the ones I do know who had bad stories were pretty obviously breaking the law when they did. I also know lots of people with stories akin to "I was drinking at 16 and punched a cop in the face, and he drove me home and we didn't get charged".
However, I don't know any black person who doesn't have a shitty story about a cop. Lots of "your break light is out, oh sorry it's not my bad" at least.
I got three fix it tickets, and I deserved them all. So I took the ticket and had them fixed. And, I didn't give the cop a hard time either.
I spent 20 years in the SF area, where whites are definitely a minority. Had friends and stories from all kinds of people of all races. Never heard one, like you're attempting to tell.
In Cali, anyways, people get pulled over cause they deserve it.
I was oppressed by the cops though, when I first got there. They kept pulling me over for things I DID do, but don't usually get pulled over for... like 27 in a 25 mph zone. But that was only for the 1st 30 days.
Cali cops don't like out of state plates. They have a law that you have to get Cali plates withing 30 days. I DID get Cali plates withing 30 days...then things went back to what I thought of as normal.
Now stories from 3rd parties at least... I think I'll take with a grain of salt.
