Youre misreading the statistics. Your statistics include people who havent been arrested. It creates a false conclusion.

What?

if a cop killed a guy its more likely the guy is white than black. but if you're black you're more likely to be killed by police than if you're white. population difference makes up the gap. it's not a tough to understand concept.

the fact that blacks make up the % they do of incarcerated, on parole, or killed by cops is a problem. if you're conservative or liberal you agree on this. the issue is only liberals want to do anything to address the problem, by and large. why more conservatives aren't upset with the cost of incarceration, policing, and public defense is beyond me. it's a massive drain on our society. 100$bn or so is spent on policing nationwide, if we removed a notable percent of inner city issues we're easily talking about billions of dollars. incarceration costs are the same, billions. no arrest, far less public defense costs. etc. it just happens to be a silent cost, because its done through taxation. if we had a tax collector who took money each month and told white people what percent goes to jails, cops, etc we might get real action. but alas fiscal conservative thinking is largely dead, so who cares, just jail and baby sit them so they cant bother our kind.
