I defined theft in my first post here on the subject. simply: taking something while offering someone no choice.

a landlord gives you the choice to not pay them and instead pay someone else, or negotiate some lesser fee. the govt doesn't let you pay less, although to be fair a certain percent can be paid to charity instead of them. but the amount is static. and that's just one type of theft, sales tax isn't negotiable or divertable, property tax either, social security, etc.

Nobody has leashed you to your current country, state, etc. etc...... hell, if you don't make enough you can avoid income tax entirely, there's whole states without sales tax, and several without income tax. Hell, in a lot of cases you can get more money back than you paid in total.

You keep saying "you can't negotiate", but strictly speaking you can if you're powerful enough. Companies do that kind of thing, look at Amazon. You aren't owed a successful negotiation, you are only owed an attempt, and you can attempt to negotiate with the IRS even if it won't be successful.

You are correct. Governments don't rightfully own all of the people or all of their labor. They do receive rent and service fees for using the labor and public amenities provided while living on the land.

Land* Using the land, not using the labor.

by giving up what?

I can decide my 150k house can be sold for 135k, no ruined credit, no offsetting the 15k over 50 years to help reduce my mortgage, nothing. just poof, I take less.

I don't see where this relates to my points. I am more than willing to admit that this may be my fault.

Like I said before, Stealing someone's money and then offering them a "service" they may or may not want doesn't make it voluntary or not theft.

I think you have the order of operations wrong.

The person exists on the land that the country owns. THEN they pay taxes. Anyone who doesn't exist there or use services there doesn't pay taxes.

states lobbied to get amazon to come, the state can initiate negotiation, you can't. and despite citizens united, people aren't 1 trillion dollar corporations.

u can avoid income tax, not social security tax on every check. its simply not possible to live a life without paying taxes, its entirely possible to live a life without paying rent. u can even life rent free on the streets, beg for free money, then buy a bottle of whiskey and boom you're no longer tax free.

I can negotiate with a home owner or land lord to simply pay less. they can even take less than they have to pay the bank if they want. its entirely free. I can negotiate to pay less taxes to the govt, by ruining my credit (a cost) or offsetting the money to future years (a cost). they aren't the same, but its valid u can in some cases negotiate to pay less this year.

You don't have to buy from a store though.... I've never paid sales tax on something I've sold to somebody.

You can negotiate with the IRS on your behalf as well.

that depends on the cost or item. u cant sell a car without paying tax, or items over a certain amount.

how many people live in America right now entirely tax free? even one?

how many people life rent free? tens of millions. and no im not counting kids.
