He was the mayor of Burlington Vermont for quite some time. He cleaned up their busted pension system, improved public services, added consumer protections, and was not unpopular to the population there.

If you want to know what somebody is going to do their past behavior is the best indicator. If you understood what Bernie Sanders has made his career doing then you wouldn't be so threatened by him. I would recommend going back and examining his executive experiences in Vermont before he became a Senator.

That's great. The question wasn't "What has he done?" it was "Is he a communist?".

Please tell me where my description went wrong. He's always been for massive redistribution and government control.

You won't even talk about it intelligently.

How wise can a person be if they don't think what a person has done is an important factor into who they are?

You are avoiding the question all together.

Show me where I have attacked his character. I find him to be honest and likable. That isn't the issue.

Point me to an industry he wouldn't nationalize in an instant if he could. Tell me where his limit on redistribution would be if he had free reign.

Why go to Pretendland? That is avoiding the question. The question was asking what he is, and if he was a particular. Now you're asking a different question altogether. The question is ultimately what would he do as the president of the United States. I've done a great job answering that question.

To answer your particular question I do not know what Bernie Sanders position would be on the original position in social contract theory. I don't think you knew you were asking that question.

No, you are shaping the question to your liking. The question was "Is he a communist?". Not what he would do as president.

I answered the question and gave him points to argue for.

What he's done working within the system doesn't change the fact that he wants to fundamentally transform it. The rhetoric he pushes has been consistent with communist doctrine for his entire career.

Where does Bernie Sanders advocate taking away civil liberties?

I am calling bullshit.

Why would he need to take them away?

Because that is one of the main platforms if communism. Rights are legally expressed bourgeoisie prejudices created to maintain private property and class stratification. They are part of the way the bourgeoisie created an ideology in which the oppressed internalize the values others that lead to their oppression and lack of class consciousness.

You are telling me this is Bernie Sanders in your statements. He has never done anything to support your claim.

You simply need the courts to agree that the benefits of redistribution are just compensation for private property.
