i compared some claims against PV to be similar to MSM. i know it's subtle, but the word "that" was a key word. (something to note: i assumed 1k secret recordings to be extremely exaggerated)

i'll use impeachment as an example. there is only 1 piece of testimonial evidence and 1 piece of documentary evidence as far as i'm aware. (both pieces of evidence "against" the case for impeachment)
this has not stopped CNN from interviewing, assuming facts in the interviews, and releasing hundreds of "opinions" as fact scenarios.(obviously can't use Fox in this circumstance, sorry)

while it's not an exact example as i can admit these media outlets seem to perform differently. i'll again mention we are "still" in Russiagate, and a false narrative has been on-going in the MSM for years.
you all can claim they are not the same and i won't argue that. but the outcome is nearly identical.

if by outcome you mean simply "misleading their audience" sure. but veritas convinces their audience that their reports are representative of the organization as a whole. whereas msm just convince their audience individual facts are more likely than they really are.

it's the difference between saying "i caught that white guy saying nigger (doesnt mention it was rapping to a song) so all white people clearly secretly say nigger every day" vs "we have a anonymous source claiming they heard that white guy say nigger". one is falsely using the "evidence" you can see, the other isnt showing you much of any. obviously the media does sometime mislead by attributing things like racism to trump supporters using anecdotes, but again, MOST of their reporting is just opinionated wild speculation and shadow sources. all, literally all, the only thing veritas does is secret recordings and phony sting operations.

fair. most of my criticisms of you were expecting me to assume facts for the conversation, when i made it very clear i had little knowledge coming into the discussion.
half of this thread is me defending a stance of not assuming facts and comparing accusations vs the examples listed to me. not really defending PV, but stating that the accusations didn't exactly align with the examples listed in some cases.

i'll note to you personally that i usually don't doubt much of what you state, even without proving those words. but again, things were not exactly matching at the start with the first link given to compare to accusations. (granted they were not your links)

shocker, project veritas didnt tell their audience the number of planned parenthood locations they had to go to to find one person who offered to sell them baby parts? crazy, wow, unreal. i can hardly believe you...

no need to stop posting here, follow this simple easy guide for much success:

1. read a claim you think cant be true
2. go research a claim
3a. come back and refute the claim
3b. realize your life is a lie, quit your job, sell all of your worldly goods, 1 way ticket to a Tibetan monastery, devote your life to the one true supreme being, pray 12 times a day, say nothing ever again, get good at karate, survive the terrorist attack caused by an angry ex monk turned mob boss, emerge from your hiding place in the ashes to offer your karate services (and continued silence) to one of the mob bosses enemies who comes to investigate, beat the mob boss and in a shock to everyone involved utter one single bad ass catchphrase, "silence is violence".[/QUOTE]

Two people coming to a mutual understanding is very triggering to me so I'm going to have to ask that you respect that and get back to bickering

since this is closest i can get to a topic with this, i'll put it here.

Ben Shapiro laid out pretty well yesterday the case that CNN is actively trying to sabotage Bernie Sanders' campaign.(will link below)
you can say at the least, Bernie was unfairly covered.

today CNN releases on Anderson Cooper's show, the "hot mic" exchange between Sanders and Warren at the end of the last democratic debate.(where Warren snubs Sanders' handshake)
https://twitter.com/CNN/status/1217621312056766475
https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/15/politics/bernie-sanders-elizabeth-warren-debate-audio/index.html
Quote
"I think you called me a liar on national TV," Warren can be heard saying.
"What?" Sanders responded.
"I think you called me a liar on national TV," she repeated.
"You know, let's not do it right now. If you want to have that discussion, we'll have that discussion," Sanders said, to which Warren replied, "Anytime."
"You called me a liar," Sanders continued. "You told me -- all right, let's not do it now."

edit: i'm going to rephrase the above statement, "i" could use a lot of what Ben shows in this video along with other circumstances, as evidence to further substantiate that CNN is trying to destroy Bernie's campaign. (not that i really want to, but Ben mostly just covers in this video, things circulating the last democratic debate)
