epidemic might be hyperbole, but pretty much all corresponding statistics from European countries show that muslim and african immigrants commit sexual crimes at higher rates than natives or east asian immigrants.
So while EndlessSky's "theyre all white"-argument is factually wrong and substantially irrelevant for the topic of the discussion (quality of life ranking of the countries of the industrialized world and its connection to the presence or absence of social democratic policies), he does have a point in a broader sense: immigration of poor people drags countries down economically if they dont integrate quickly and widely, and the presence of people with a problematic cultural background and socialization will drag down the chances at succesful integration as well as the immaterial quality of life of everyone else.
These points dont explain the difference in qol rankings between the US and European countries, but they are nonetheless valid in their own right.
