Laws aren't for us, they are to protect the govt. WHEN internement camps are used, they ARE legal. Just because some flower children politicians claim it to be illegal 40-50 years later, doesn't make it so.

You're right though - this is a war. Make no mistake about it. There will be more injuries and deaths until the authorities step up and do their job of keeping people safe so the vigilantes don't have to.
