And the existence of Israel does not violate any of these 10 rules.

So you should not say that you want to see Israel disappear, because it's very marginal to the Jewish religion.

And you should not despise the rules of Moses.

The existence of Israel does not violate any of Moses' rules, so Israel has the right to exist.

The Arabic nations were historically far more accepting of other religions, including the Jews, than Western nations have been. In the grand scheme of things, the Arabs have been tolerant for hundreds and hundreds of years, only becoming intolerant for the minority of their existence.

And I wasn't even considering Jesus when I was thinking about Roman persecution, although in hindsight that should've been the obvious go-to.
