Yeah I thought you wouldnt be able to keep the subject on recent history.. The Hague only convicts ppl from the middle east and africa.. If the US would have been there, we would have had a few more trials to see there was a truth to my statement.. There is a ton of evidence though. recently went a bit into DU, as but a mere example.

War is hell folks. The days of standing in lines and shooting each other are long gone.
A lot of folks don't seem to understand that when at war with a country, a country where grandmas come running up with grenades, kids too, sometimes ya just have to get nasty.


/e Sure we'd all like nice clean honorable wars. But unless everyone is playing by those rules...

/ee Guess I'm just a bit tired of people accusing the US of war crimes, when compared to just about every other country in the world...we're pretty much amateurs in the war crime lists.

The USA does not participate in the ICC.

War is hell, sure. Still, the specific targeting of unarmed civilians is vile.

Sadly, many countries, including my own, have at one point or another participated in mass slaughter or genocide. It seems it is a regrettable part of the human condition.

The fact that you seem to trivialize it is fairly despicable.

Wars are fought by countries. Not just armies. Armies can't survive without the backing of the people.
Europe doesn't like the way the US does things...fine call the pres. and tell him fuk off. I'm sure Russia would love for that to happen. Not to mention the zillions of muslim refugees/immigrants/invaders.

As for Nam, we were invited by the South. We fought with the South, sometimes even doing things they requested.
I'm a vet, 61 years old. I';ve seen some the things done to people know/knew in that war. I'd avoid that topic.
