My home is here, and not in Plato's world of perfect forms.
This home is only temporary. As a matter of fact homes can even be destroyed in this life. Entire lives have been destroyed in this life.
At Church yesterday we revisited Jesus being our Cornerstone. A cornerstone is the first rock placed on which the rest of the house rests upon it. Take out the Cornerstone and the entire house will fall down.
The wind and the waves will come but the Cornerstone will keep the house upright. Then there are those who built their house on the sand with no Cornerstone. When the wind and the waves came, the house fell down.
This is a reference to what we put our hope into in this life. Do you put your hope into Earthly things? What do you do when they pass away and you have nothing to turn to and then your entire life gets destroyed?
