This is correct.

It seems like the gist of his statement could be "seeing god", which is why I put it in quotes.

Ok, so now I know the difference between "seeing" god and "believing" in god.

I can see god everywhere i look, in the trees, the water, the sun, the sky and the faces of those i love.

First of all, common sense cannot be trusted. It is based off of the perception of the observer. This can be false, since the perception of the observer varies from person to person, and only describes "what seems to be", and not "what actually is".

Second of all, that comment about logical reasoning... The most ludicrous thing I have heard on this forum. Without logic, no argument will ever be right... Why would I ever choose to reason without logic?

Finally, "virtues that need not be disclosed"? Now this is the statement of the master troll... There are so many things wrong with that statement, I'll name a couple: 1. You are not helping me by not telling me what those things are and how they do anything to aid me in believing in god. 2. They ought to be disclosed so that everyone can learn about them..
