I am claiming that the Bible is infallible.

At least five women visited the tomb: Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Salome, Mary the mother of James, and at least one other person.

None of the Gospels contradicts this fact
.

Ok, let's do this again:

Depending on which Gospel you are reading, the following woman/women visited the tomb:

Matt 28:1
Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary

Mark 16:1
Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome

Luke 24:10
Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and other women

John 20:1
Mary Magdalene only

Now, I simply ask you this: which one is correct, and do you not see the obvious contradiction here?

How can you hot-headedly defend the Bible as been infallible when the contradiction is staring you right in your face?

Just wondering....

By the way, all my religious threads are to make people think critically. That is their real purpose...

And I am happy to see that some people in this thread actually started to do this, which means that I succeeded in achieving just that.

it does not matter who visited him, it does not matter if miracles occured and he was brought back to life.

the message will allways be the same, when you open your heart and chose to sacrafice of your self for the good of the world you too will know the message.

The first, second, and fourth verses don't say that no one else was there with the people listed.

...this post is directed at my fellow Christians !

...in my entire time on this forum I have never seen a thread that proves the following Scripture more than this one -

Matthew 7:6

New International Version (©1984)

"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

...if you truly value Holy Scripture do not argue with those who oppose it ; do not try to counter their lies or use the Bible as a weapon against them .

Peace
