DEI isn't wrong but is used for wrong reasons bei democrats and hated for wrong reasons by republicans. Marginalized people have a very hard time to land a job position even if they are qualified. Usually, but that's not related by race, nepotism or hiring the son/daughter of a friend, uncle, lover etc. is known practice. Sometimes, they just post a job application for people to see but they actually have their desired person already. That's unfair and the productivity output sucks in the end. They are just as bad or not worse as DEI hiring but no one bats an eye. They are much harder to regulate than hiring a DEI person based on merit. Say, if I have 2 candidates with the comparable qualification and one is black, the other white, I'd take the black person, but not because of his skin color. There are very few of those and they need to be rewarded for swimming against the current of crime.
refreshing take, babun. i like it
