Yep! There are many ways to use certain words which I believe OP was going for. They wanted to know what it meant to others as it isn't really defined when used in the current political climate
The ironic part is woke(atleast not in a spiritual/enlightenment sense) was initially used by the Black progressive community to preach social and political awareness and to stay vigilant of your environment. Now it's used by the opposite side of the aisle as a derogatory term
Oh how times have changed!
I did not know that history behind "woke" very interesting!
That's why words themselves which are constructive and led to are more social evolution are actually divisive in nature.
In ancient Sanskrit there is no "subject" it is all basically "verbs". It's very interesting that the root human language doesn't acknowledge "separation" and that human beings started to use the terms "I" / "We" as languages spread and devolved in my opinion.
When you look at Sanskrit to English translations you quickly realize how advanced Sanskrit was for being 3000-5000 years old. It basically makes modern language look like a joke.
That's why there's the metaphor or reality of the "Fall of the tower of Babel". Which was when humans spoke in the same language and attempted to build a tower to "God". God then destroyed the tower and scattered the languages so that we could never "threaten" God again. It's no coincidence that languages around the world are now very different but had the same root. You would think we would all "speak the same language" but we don't.
That's why in Genesis it says, 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God; 3 all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
