they are indeed an invasive species, many such examples exist of invasive species that will absolutely destroy their environments, down to nothing at all, if humans did not intervene

What you call "luxuries" is something we achieved through centuries of hard work and studying NATURE. Electricity is way more than just luxury. Its the main reason for our progression as a species.

its pretty nuts to think that an animal is bent on destroying the environment, rather then simply trying to survive in the environment they currently find themselves in.

pretty sure most invasive species exist because of effects created by humans...

i never said it wasnt. and this is why i say that you cannot eat your money... you use money to buy food. money is technically not what you need.

same for electricity. the luxury is the furnace in your basement. what you need is a certain temperature to survive, not the electricity itself. we didnt get layers of fur like other animals and therefore require shelter. like the beavers, lol

our brains (which was given to us by nature) have given us the ability to use science to our benefit and make every day life easier. we need electricty to run lightbulbs. i dont need light at night to survive, but it sure helps.

Yea we all hope that'd be the case but ask yourself this.

When the military tests nuclear weapons or carries out a psychological experiment or a myriad of other "morally questionable" acts in the name of "Science" NONE of us get a say in any of it as a civilian because the average "human being" is against detonating nuclear warheads in the ocean and killing wildlife on a mass scale. So they can blow up a hole in the magnetosphere with no consequence what else have they been "testing" behind the scenes.

If you were asked these questions you'd probably say "no thank you"

1) Open air biological experiment above your town

2) Detonation of a nuclear warhead above your state/country

3) Detonate nuclear warhead in the ocean iviscoarating life incalculable.

No civilian gets to vote on this our governments simply do this without accountability and resposibilty because they can in the name of "Science".

they have no natural predators because they're massive powerful wild hogs that will eat absolutely anything and everything with a ravenous unsatiable hunger. There are no tigers around North America but even if there were even they would think twice before going for a massive wild hog. Cougars won't mess with them.
