america was thriving under obama, (was in a period of econcomic growth during his last term) which continued under trump. he literally did not have to do anything for the first 3 yrs of his term and could have easily won in 2020. but nope, his inherent corrupt nature prevented him from doing that because he is an absolute buffoon.

the economy just magically doesn't do better overnight because 1 person took over, by your own reasoning, biden would be the best president in your life time becuase he has reduced inflation from 7% down to what? 3-4%? in a year?

way to stick to old talking points instead of focusing on actual economic data/policies that contributed to the mess we have today - many of which were directly through trumps policies. Not saying trump is uniquely responsible, congress (repubs and dems) are to blame, but, sheeple like you throwing yourself to one guy is the exact opposite of conservatism.

this is because the state of the country was directly a result of his inability to be a genuine leader. you know this. its not like this information is new.

every policy of trump's were all floozy, built on perception, not actual substance.

the economy was doing well, despite trump. ya, congress manage to pass through a tax-cut bill, but, all that did was increase the deficit and balloon the national debt. remember, pre-covid, he had inherited a period of economic growth, yet he still increased the national debt by trillions.

We're not having the same conversation. i'm speaking to political tactics, you're speaking to actual fault. actual fault doesnt win elections, especially when Trump is involved.

No, it's politically salient. Biden's argument for reelection (aside from gaslighting Americans on why they should feel great about the economy) is that he's defending American democracy. Ignore that "democracy" means you must only vote for one party (even voting 3rd party is dangerous), Biden's path back to the White House is to convince Americans that Republicans are sufficiently criminal such that a vote for him is the only reasonable option.

Juxtaposed with the mountain of evidence that Joe Biden was personally complicit in his son's vast bribery ring and that argument falls apart. Republicans should and are hammering away at inflation, the trillions in wasted green subsidies, and Biden's (attempted) trillion dollar handover of public funds to those fortunate enough to possess college degrees. But it's also essential that they tie Biden personally to the corruption American's see in the upper echelons of power.
