To be honest, I've not even once read this argument. If anything, civilian casualties from going fast and ruthless increase the likelihood of public uprisings in neighboring countries.

All arguments I've seen for Israel's approach boil down to the current situation/climate which would make it politically suicidal to sacrifice more Israeli soldiers in order to protect more Gazan civilians. That's clearly the tradeoff we're talking about here, and there is clearly no appetite among the Israeli public to lose even more of their own just to avoid collateral damage on the other side.

No my parents taught me right from wrong.
I grew up with Muslim Arab workers all around me.
My dad used to help his workers with money to their bank accounts when there were conflicts.
I was taught love and compassion.
And I was also taught not to talk about things I have no clue about
