Must be the biggest outlier ever. I hear from reliable jsp sources that the media loves trump and takes it easy on him.

yeah it's hilarious that the media thinks the average person cares that they got played hard by Trump too. I find it hilarious and respect Trump for it.

I feel like all those things you said were said by Mr. Trump at various points and times, depending on whomever he is talking to. I'm sticking with my team, even if the QB isn't my favorite pick. Going from Bernie Sanders to Trump while skipping over Clinton is very silly. Sanders and Clinton were not that different on the issues, and Clinton is more likely to accomplish her agenda.

How do you consider Trump and Clinton equal on foreign policy? He advocates thawing relations with Russia, he wants to normalize relations with Cuba where Hillary at best flip flopped into it, he endorses the same economic pressure instead of military force doctrine of Obama on China, he's chilly enough towards Israel to worry AIPAC, he wants russia fighting in syria instead of us. Everything he's said foreign policy-wise supports a doctrine of having allies fight their conflicts and protect themselves instead of direct intervention and only approaching the major powers in economic warfare, a far cry from the Hillary who tried to drag our troops into syria and navy into the chinese seas.

Trump might have excuses and ever changing positions on the economy and flip flopped as much as hillary on social issues depending on the crowd he's talking to, but foreign policy wise he's at least been coherent, and its a hell of a lot closer to Obama than Hillary.

Barack Obama calls African Americans racist if they don't vote for Hillary. The left is in full self-cannibalism mode.

And once again, not a good sign when the only way to make your opponent look bad is to make shit up and twist words.

Trump's position on immigration is basically identical to what we already do: Extreme vetting, highly selective and discriminatory, refusing to let in muslims from countries we don't like.
The post 9/11 america is far removed from the huddled masses of yore

I don't seem Hillary campaigning to ease those extreme restrictions we've put in place.

You, friend. According to the source he said nothing about racism, nor did he say to vote for Hillary. He merely said he'd take it as an insult if the black community did not vote at all.

I think there's a big difference between this and categorically banning Muslims which is outright religious discrimination.

Unless maybe I'm not informed enough about our current immigration policy.

Banning muslims from entering from 'terrorist countries'? Take a look at the B-Visa rejection rates to get an idea;
https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Non-Immigrant-Statistics/RefusalRates/FY13.pdf

I'm not sure such good statistics exist for permanent immigrant applications

Those rates are overwhelmingly lower than would be expected if Trump's proposal is fully instated.

I think your description of Trump's idea is much more conservative than what he's actually said. He proposes (or at least has proposed, we know he's liable to backtrack) a categorical ban on all Muslims from ANY country, as well as a categorical ban on ANYONE, Muslim or not, from any location with a history of terrorism. This is many many times more expansive than just banning Muslims from terrorist countries.
