and like he said if he was just a simple journalist who did nothing wrong the soldiers, caught on camera, will go before a judge for punishment. and he seemingly supports that. if the journalist did something that still didnt require a beating they'll likely still go before a judge.

i dont have a selective memory, ive seen this same dog and pony show dozens of times in this thread. many states over and over if people did something wrong they should be punished, that's a good answer. having doubt about the stories that are released does come from a biased position, but it doesnt change the position that wrongdoers deserve to be punished. you just believe that all cases you see on twitter are cold hearted soldiers beating completely innocent people, which even if were true by his own stance should result in a lot of soldiers getting punished.

you're just baking a lot of assumptions and strawmans into the cake in an attempt to exploit a bias in the debate that is an aside, not the relevant point. you likely wont even understand what im saying, if that history you love so much holds true. i await your poorly phrased response.

I wonder who the judges are! With age they show hostility to freedom, they read the press that dates as far back as the Crimean war. They call it wisdom. They're quick to criticize and curse and always sing the same old song, they never think they can be wrong. The older these men are- the worse.

there are legitimate issues with the israeli court system, specifically in how it handles the detaining of west bank citizens historically. but that too, imo, is an aside here. many names can correct me if i'm wrong, but he seems to state repeatedly that if soldiers hurt people unprovoked they should be punished. he's not claiming they always are, or that all prisoners are guilty of terrible violence, or anything else. but when you're asked, repeatedly, to make an excuse for misbehavior, and you don't. well that just makes the people strawmanning ad nauseum look petty and childish.

just imagine if someone over and over said "hey make excuses for BLM burning down black owned small businesses", and the person said over and over "i dont excuse it, its bad, they shouldnt do it, and deserve to be punished". then time and again the same people come back and say "lol u love this and approve of all of it".

The Israeli Judicial system are in huge conflict with the government over the different perspectives.
Soldier got prison time after he shot a dying terrorist.
A police woman who pushed a muslim woman in jerusalem got time to the community.
Israel is not a third world shit hole where rights do not exists.

right, ive read many such cases. but i think id be correct in saying that your stance is: if a soldier does something wrong, like an unprovoked attack or using disproportionate violence, they should be punished in a court of law.
