I think it's South Dakota that has one county with a population of 3600 and 8 covid deaths. I know that those types of county the age groups must be skewed heavily towards old people but fuck, how are they even active enough to cough in each other's direction?

But yeah, it baffles my mind how they can have such high case numbers.
It doesnt surprise me, however, when the mortality rates are extra high in the boonies where only the elderly are left because all the young folks moved away, and where there's no good hospital infrastructure.
