If she was the latter, who "lied repeatedly" about "easily disprovable things," then this meme that's regurgitated by uninformed people wouldn't hinge entirely on breathlessly repeating the one lie and then trying to extend that to represent a 30-year career that consists of thousands of public statements. If a member of her family told Clinton she was named after someone who gained worldwide acclaim in the 1950s a few years before she was born, she's not a liar for repeating what she was told. She just happens to be wrong about. She obviously didn't contest the assertion that she was wrong, or try to stick to the version that was told to her, when she was challenged on it. The head-nodders always conveniently forget that important part.

Anyone who has even passing familiarity with the political history of the late 1990s knows that the Clintons left the White House with more liabilities than assets on account of Bill's legal bills (that were incurred from having to swat away frivolous lawsuits lobbed at them by conservatives). They had more debt than money; that's what she was referring to. Her comment as a factual matter was correct; what's crazy is that they probably wouldn't have been able to purchase the Chappaqua home had they not done so earlier in 1999.

Her people thought they turned over all her work-related emails; they used a keyword-header search to separate the correspondence into the two directories and then handed over the entire business directory. Even the correspondence that turned out to be of a business nature, that incorrectly went into the personal directory, will eventually make it to the State Department (and public release). Clinton's the only Secretary in American history who will have undergone this level of scrutiny and there's still yet no rationale for why that is: every claim leveled against her has been refuted. They weren't lying when they engaged in that protocol, and this is the same exact protocol that every office uses when an official leaves. People give away the game on how ignorant they are when they howl over "33k deleted emails!!!!11one"
