Fat shaming will never stop, how else would skinny people feel good about their miserable existence?

k let's leave it at this, i don't encourage mindless cruelty towards obese people however we do have an obligation to encourage family members to pursue healthier life styles if they're eating themselves into an early grave the same way we'd do it to family members who are smokers - also smack down the absurdities of the fat acceptance movement wherever you encounter it not allowing people to lie to themselves or others about what they are doing to their body

that's not shaming and nobody thinks it's a bad thing to encourage friends and family to improve through positive interaction

You smack down fat acceptance through accurate and productive education and policy, not internet memes and shaming endorsements because of a couple of fat women cashing in.

You seem to think that fat people are not aware that they are fat or that it is unhealthy. Your interest is in the judgement part rather than what and how to get the best results.

The addictions and mental/emotional issues are what need to be addressed in those that are already morbidly obese.

You can tell them they are fat and unhealthy all day long, it solves nothing. You have no interest in results.

whether not it's shaming is a matter of perspective and how sensitive an individual is to the topic of weight loss

also 20 pages ago you flipped your shit on me for claiming that mental disorders are tied to over-eating and under-eating saying society's beauty standards are to blame, not the mental problems of morbidly obese people

try to be a little consistent

If you shame a person into weight loss it's very likely to have been accomplished in a unhealthy way and if the reason that caused the obesity (which can be from many different reasons/factors) is not addressed and fixed binging will be a risk which causes the yo yo effect often time leading to being even bigger when the person eventually cracks.

Just because a person loses the weight doesn't make them healthier or less of a risk to the tax payer if it's not accomplished in a healthy way

If you truly are interested in the health aspect of obesity then shame is not the best approach for you.

Since your world seems to be based around pop culture I assume you are very opposed to modeling and "reality" based celebrity in general, right?

The big people celebrity thing is new but since you are in this for the health reasons it must be safe to assume you have been shaming the models and actresses that contributed to anorexia, bulimia, body dismorphic disorder and stimulant abuse right?

Has this been addressed or dodged?

it's true we don't shame them but when people like tess munster and whitney thore are seen as an inspiration, it's time for drastic measures

mother nature certainly has no problem shaming them from the looks of it

When someone has an overweight it is okay, but very fat people are disgusting.
