That's the problem with the left, they have no real core values and are easily seduced by their emotions.

This is like card_sultan complaining that Trump supporters think the world is too flat.

they do have one core value, which can be described by the phrase "GIMME THAT IT'S MINE YOU [insert unfounded insult here]!!!!!!!!!!"

they are the descendants/next generation of/heirs to the prior generation described by George Carlin (may he RIP) here:

Quite the false equivalence, especially when reading both articles.

The article on Saddam mostly concerns the differences in the UNSC regarding how Saddam should be dealt with, not whether he is a threat or not. It is clear to all surrounding parties that Hussein is a threat to global stability.

The article on Putin's Russia sees it as a threat to the stability of the Western power bloc/NATO, but not a threat that needs action against Russia, rather there should be an effort to minimize the influence of Russian propaganda.

Both articles are peddling the notion of 'dealing with the evil bad guys from the lands to the east'

Hussein was such a threat to global stability that disarming killing him led to more instability.

Russia was deemed a non-factor by Obama during the last election and Se(c)retary Clinton hit the reset button with them years back - whats with the fearmongering about them. The only propoganda being perpetrated is by the American Democrats, blaming 'Russia' for everything that makes them look bad- including official FBI reports.

A clear display of foolish extremely careless and unreasonable rhetoric when proper diplomacy is necessary.
