the equation F = MA addresses acceleration at a single instance as in any given point in time.
and is the is the physics definition of acceleration
its easy to get confused , because the phrasing of the words - increases or decreases in speed
but as soon as we introduced time and vector into the equation we have momentum
and this is how you get the classic standard definition of acceleration

So if 0---------0, <--------the force difference between two points = standard acceleration
if its just a point <--------- classic physics definition.

The word has two meanings and some might think it only has one.
