If you knew anything about my life youd know i know more about poverty and suffering than just about anyone on these forums from a first hand experience .

I dont know what its like to suffer racist or sexist abuse obviously.

But the next time your spoiled ass wants to attack someone for being a priviledged suburban white male you may want to make sure you arent talking to a dude who grew up in projects on welfare with mostly poor minorities until he was 12. Obviously when my uncle took me in my life changed.

Hillary Clinton is so dishonest. She lies repeatedly, and about dumb and easily disprovable things, too.

She's going to make for an extremely untrustworthy president. But hey...she's better than Donald Trump, so I guess that's all that matters.

All it takes is a taste of middle class living for someone to convert to the dark side of personal responsibility and victim blaming.

I dont blame victims. I just see no value in self pity and loathing and blame. It wont fix anything.... even if you have been wronged

When you start blaming others for your situation or circumstances , you also take away your own responsibility and control of the situation.

What's so funny about Clinton and her history as a public figure is that this has never been even true, it's merely an inaccurate meme kept alive by uninformed people regurgitating it ad nauseum over the years. It's basically a lie that's become conventional wisdom through repetition, like how "undecideds go to the challenger" in an election. It's not even remotely true. There might be two, maybe three legitimate instances over this 25-year period when Hillary Clinton has lied to an audience. It's precisely because she's so careful with her words that prevents her from being sloppy and loose with her language, which is what causes Donald Trump, Mitt Romney-esque politicians to tell a lot of lies in their presentation.

People can't have it both ways. They can't criticize her for being insular, (rightfully) distrusting of the press and critics but then at the same time criticize her for being loose with her language. They have to believe she either veers towards being overly cautious with how she presents herself or that she doesn't; she can't magically be at opposite ends of the spectrum simultaneously so that whichever criticism it's convenient to lob at her at the time is easier to fit to her.

Spinster you think Hillary is going to offer Krugman a position in her government as an economic advisor? He was proper bumming up to her in the primary election and unfairly criticised Bernie in a lot of ways, so I think he has been playing for it. No hard feelings though, Krugman is a very good economist and I like defending him because he gets a lot of vitriol from right wing loons.
