this isn't about shaming all fat people and i honestly don't get how shaming people for overeating would be connected to shaming people for being mentally challenged
this is about combating the movement that seeks to claim obesity as normal and healthy, a demographic of professional victims who do not want to be held accountable for what they've done to their body and cry bullying when doctors tell them they need to lose weight
Being against fat acceptance doesn't require being a proponent of fat shaming. Fat acceptance is the sjw type of bullshit that doesn't deserve any more attention but for some reason it triggers a bunch of people and makes them flirt with fat shaming which is plain stupid. We can shame people for overeating when they're not fat (yet?) just as we can shame people for smoking cigarettes before they get lung cancer. Not when they're suffering from the consequences of their actions.
Do you have friends or relatives who are obese? Would you shame them for being fat? Chances are they are already struggling with their body image and confidence, so what's the benefit in making them feel more guilty about it than they already do?
