What degree did you get student loans for?

have no degree. was freshly 18 with no money and nowhere to go told by parents to go to school or get out onto the literal sidewalk. took some courses at one of those fucking for profit devry colleges, my car broke down and i lived too far away to be able to continue attending, and wound up just getting my cdl and going into trucking. now its 20 years later and im low income with kids and the interest on these loans have turned them into 25x what i even borrowed. thats a fucking joke that my situation shouldnt be bankruptcyable i dont have any degree or anything

He did do something about student loans though. He suspended payments for a significant period of time. I suppose you could vote Republican and see how much they help you in that department.

Whats a cdl? And isnt trucking very profitable? I know some guys in toronto who bring in 10k a month with long distance trucking

So 20 years ago you accumulated a bunch of debt, did nothing with it, and now you're upset the current president didn't bail you out? Don't get me wrong I believe in having aspects of socialism but the line has to be drawn at some point. Is the gov't supposed to bail out every bad decision maker?
