Yeah, we did a good job early, but there's been a loud backlash against the restrictions put in place by Governor Walz (Dem), and the GOP flipped six seats in the MN House as a result. There's still Dem control of the house, but now with only a four seat majority.

So long as you avoid talking about deaths. Talk about case numbers because then you can blame Trump even though the deaths are Cuomo and Newsom's fault.

The 7-day moving average of deaths in the US is also rising. On October 14th, it was 726. Yesterday, that number sat at 1109. That's an almost 53% increase in a month. It's not as high as the initial spike, but that's in no small part due to improvements in treating it.

How is it Newsom's fault? California is ranked 32nd in deaths per capita and we've handled it better than almost everyone. Granted, our weather is conducive to containing COVID spread because our weather is nice. Anyone outside of CA is FUCKED this winter.

The track record of governments thinking it knows better what's good for the people than they themselves is not really great.
