all trials are public in america, when there's a high profile case it goes on tv.

i had to sit through a few dozen public trials in undergrad.

no. i have an undergrad bachelors in criminal justice and made it about half way through law school before i dropped out to take a job in an entirely unrelated field. i also worked for a decade or so inside of prisons with a private organization that coaches felons on reintroduction into society. teaching financial skills, housing arrangements, job skills, etc.
