Maybe it's because I mostly only follow reasonable political people on Twitter, but I've never seen apologia for that crap. CNN should be embarrassed that they ever allowed it. But let's remember this is the network that aired Trump rallies nonstop in 2015 and 2016, because ratings matter most.

CNN is utter trash and barely better than Fox News, except that they think of themselves as a media outlet of record that's producing journalism on the level of the NYT.
