Not really.

I'm a realist. The Supreme Court made a decision, and as a corrupted human race, some among us will seek to kill their unborn children. The president has little or nothing to do with abortion policy in the United States. Pretending that voting for the candidate who decided to switch his position on abortion ten seconds ago, who advocates for the murder of innocent civilians related to terrorists, who has deplorable character, to pretend that he is the moral candidate is laughable.

I think any Christian politician who argues that they are personally against abortion but publicly in favor of it is a moral coward to the highest degree. I view them as complete scum to be honest.

Liberal Catholics are so strange to me. I grew up Catholic, I'm now protestant, and I don't understand why every Democratic Catholic politician spends 100% of the time answering religious questions by talking about social justice. I've never once heard them talk about Jesus Christ or salvation. It seems like an empty faith.

Catholicism is increasingly progressive and open to rational critiques of their beliefs and dogmas. The Cathechism (or the Compendium) is a really good read if you haven't read either.

What rational critiques? Tim Kaine and Joe Biden claim to accept their church's teaching on abortion and gay marriage, but like cowards claim that it is their personal opinion and couldn't dare to hold them as public opinions.

Can you point to any doctrines changed recently because of "rational critiques"?
