if it was a true causality then all democratic areas would look like that. my suspicion is that there is more going on than political preference.

Most democratic areas ARE like that.

It's true. Heavily democratic areas (65%+) are complete shit holes. 50-65% isn't terrible because you have enough Republicans to save the day.

Not necessarily in money, but in food. They do pretty well for themselves I think.

Was looking for a statistical comparison of poverty & crime in red vs blue states, but can't seem to find any that offer raw data on this without various sites putting their own biased spin on the information.

e.g.: http://www.topalli.com/blue/
Whatever they say about crime I cannot trust after what they had to say about marriage.

"we just hate gays and can't say it out loud."
 Liberals are utterly delusional. L2FirstAmendment assholes.
Just to hard to trust the above site's info graphs after reading that tripe.

From my own personal experiences however, democratic states defiantly have more poverty and crime issues. That suggest implantation of liberal policies being a indispensable component to causation of the poverty and crime circumstances for these regions.

How'd you end up with that? Red states are democratic?
