Fox has argued their whole network is NOT a news network at ALL.
I'm not talking about putting shows on or not I am talking about how they portray themselves to the public is not what they said in court.
This did not happen at CNN so why compare?
CNN has argued in court that many of their flagship programs are also indeed entertainment, and not news.
they keep traditional newshour facts forward programming for 2 reasons, ratings (it always plays really well on public space viewership like gyms, airports, etc) and also to maintain the legal argument that they are still a news network.
its the entire reason i asked in the first place, because in shades of grey they're all the same for US networks. other than BBC and some PBS networks, that are still fairly news without punching it up.
