You're right that Israel is the home of the Jewish people! That is why they have the right of return. However alot of them have family & roots in America (mostly) and Canada (some) that are centuries old due to being persecuted everywhere

I don't have a problem with Jews having Israel. And I guess if they really insist on being in the West, there is nothing I can do about it. But one question they should be asking themselves, and the rest of the West should ask too, is why Jews prefer living in the West as opposed to Israel. I think the answer will really make one think.

I dont understand why do you think they “prefer” to live in the west.

Yedioth Ahronoth Hebrew newspaper:

About 5,000 Israeli soldiers have been injured since the beginning of the war.
More than 2,000 new disabled persons were identified in the Israeli army.
Most of the injured suffer from serious wounds.
The Rehabilitation Department of the Israeli Ministry of War receives about 60 new wounded daily.

The US has vetoed a UN Security Council demand for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, even as it kept up pressure on Israel to do more to protect Palestinian civilians during a fierce offensive against Hamas militants across the enclave. Fighting escalated and the Palestinian death toll rose today, with Israel pounding the enclave from north to south in an expanded phase of the two-month-old war against the Iran-backed Islamist group Hamas. Decrying a "spiralling humanitarian nightmare", UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres yesterday declared that nowhere in Gaza was safe for civilians, hours before the US vetoed a Security Council resolution backed by the vast majority of its members calling for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.

Should Arab states be pressuring Hamas to surrender?

The longer the war continues the more innocents will be killed. Hamas is imbedded in civilian areas, civilian infrastructure. They are using civilians as shields. These are facts.

Israel has stated its goal is to destroy Hamas' capabilities. To what extent that can be achieved is obviously debatable but the odds are in Israels favour.
Hamas is surrounded, without resupply, without extensive communications, of course allegedly. They are outgunned and outmatched.

I think Hamas should surrender the hostages and its remaining fighters. That however expects that Hamas are a rational entity; But unfortunately they are not rational, it doesn't care for outright victory as long as Israelis are killed in the process.

This shows how reckless nations can be: U.S need its disposable proxy in "full conditions" thousands kilometers away. And the little dog is following.

Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki was attending a summit in Washington but was not allowed to answer the press questions. The saudi minister spilled the beans by saying his visa could be revoked.
This comes right after the US vetoed a ceasefire resolution in Gaza again.

Anyone noticing a pattern here?
