i understand the use of men, as they were the only ones able to own slaves, im asking if single men are included in the stat or not, head of household is an odd phrasing.

It goes to show that it has less to do with oppression and more to do with identity. American whites outgrew their ethnic identities and had no reason to grow a new one. That's a future we should want for all Americans.

Well duh. Pride is obviously associated with identity by definition. My point was to distinguish between white pride and black pride because Endless seems to struggle for the reasons why they exist. My point was that Italian pride, black pride, gay pride, etc. stem from oppression because the groups needed to stick together. Endless could be in Nazi Germany and be bewildered at the idea of Jewish pride as a response to antisemitism. He would then think that Aryan pride is equivalent to Jewish pride.
