To a normal person, being a room with literal DEI activists would put up immediate red flags and put you into a vigilant 'on guard' mode. Papa John told the DEI folks about how he thought it was so terrible how racist people were when he was growing up and how Colonel Sanders would call black people the n-word, except he actually said it. This is the moment that earned John the Baker his crucifixion. Was Papa John's sentiment even that objectionable? Naw. He didn't say something too terrible. Was he wrongly maligned and his career destroyed over a nothingburger? Sure. But one thing is undeniable: John Schnatter was a fucking moron who walked directly into the obvious trap

We've already seen something like 5+ stories of people being fired from their jobs for posting messages about Charlie Kirk on social media, ranging from celebrating his death to saying his death was wrong but calling him a shitbag at the same time. Either way, rightly or wrongly maligned, you'd have to be a moron to walk into this trap. But they just keep stacking up
