Well ideally I'm just taking Trump's words from his own interview after farmers have made so much noise. He said he needs to make a order to not deport those ones lmao.
I'd much rather see the unemployed be working. That does not appear to be the plan though.
Do you have a source? Am only seeing remarks on farmers from couple months back. More recently a lot of media in regards to soybean exports.
Farmers in particular seem to complain about some government entitlement yearly. The ones employing illegal workers have no sympathy, shut them down IMO. Similar to slavers, part of the human trafficking problem in USA. The ones disproportionately impacted by tarrifs more reasonable for bailout. Although, a farm is a business and generally don't like government intervention to hedge risks on a private venture. Surely some of these farmers have diverse portfolio of crops, and risk-adverse planning for annual hardship.
A farmers poor planning and exploitation of human trafficking does not seem like a good candidate for government intervention.
That being said, I'd hate to see more corporate buys gobble up failed farms. Surely government can figure out how to funnel the unemployed to the need and.remedy the tarrif hurt on the vulnerable if they choose.
Conservative corps did wonders in MN remote sites. That doesn't seem very Maga though
