I know poverty. No such thing as being privileged. It’s what you do with your life and the effort you put into it.

Yea, the person who went to private school their whole life, grew up in a safe neighborhood, has wealthy parents, etc. has no privilege. It's the same thing as growing up without parents on the streets. They both just need to put in a little effort.

I'll report them to the DEA, the IRS, and probably ICE. Thanks for being a patriot.

Privilege is a multiplier on your effort. If you put in zero effort it doesn't matter how privileged you are. But if you are white, your effort gets a 1x. If you are black, it gets a 0.75x. If you're a native, it gets a 0.5x. There's been plenty of studies showing that equally qualified individuals will get hired more often when they're white, and less often when they're black, mexican, or native.

If you're white and rich, then your privilege multiplier is like 500x.

Yep, grew up with nothing. Went to a public school…worked shitty jobs. Advanced from shitty jobs to better jobs to taking courses to getting licensed to maxing out my 401k. My brother had a song when we were growing up: “we in the ghetto homie living off bread and bologna.” So yeah it’s effort, if you stay poor in this country it’s your own damn fault.

Except there literally aren't enough jobs for people to do that. Our system is totally dependent on jobs that only pay $10 an hour to function. If we raise the wages on those jobs because fewer people want them then all your investments start making substantitally less, and that maxing 401K stops being a return that lets you retire.

Our whole system is predicated on rewarding investment SUBSTANTIALLY. This isn't good honestly, we should be paying people more and making less on our investments. Rewarding real work instead of investment.

Is it the same ratio based on college acceptance? Also companies have to be diverse. Natives are the only ones I’ll agree with you on. African Americans and Hispanics have so many groups backing them. Natives are just there and they get screwed over by their own tribe.

They have "so many groups backing them" because they've been denied the same generational wealth opportunities as white families. Natives have a ton of groups backing them too you know...

I’m not saying wage shouldn’t be increased. Wage should of kept up with inflation, but inflation is out of control. The truth is unions sold out the worker long ago. Democrats and Republicans are both bought and paid for. There’s just a wording difference between the groups to keep people divided. Trust me when I say the corporation’s pay both parties to pass or vote down bills. I’ve seen the money going to “dinner fees” then showing the Congressman with an R or D right next to it. This talk of Trump or Hillary or Biden doesn’t mean anything. The same money is behind both political groups.

They have a lot of fraud, murder, rape and kidnapping amongst their own tribes. Their own leaders are corrupt, the money just doesn’t follow through and sadly alcohol has hit the Native American population terribly.

I guess you don't even read my posts, because I'm incredibly critical of Democrats lol.

Republicans actively fight against things that should be done. Democrats pay lip service to doing the right then, then don't actually do anything.

They're both garbage.

Wages should be much higher. Wages should not track inflation. They should track productivity or a similar metric. We are a massively productive economy. We produce enough that everybody should be making 30k more a year, and we could do that easily if we stopped having a hard-on for investments over wages.
