He destroyed the USSR, improved our foreign relations with just about every nation, and rose the standard of living (albeit by sacrificing wealth equality and government finance).

66% of the government spending is entitlements: SS, Medicare, Obamacare, Pensions. I don't think that was his fault.

There were a lot of things I didn't like about Reagan though, Immigration included. I would have voted for Bush I in that election.
