https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/new-york-times-falls-for-bizarre-trump-conspiracy-theory-quietly-scrubs-from-site

The New York Times initially gave credence to the dumb conspiracy theory that Trump's message to seniors was filmed on green screen instead of the white house lawn
which 1) was obviously not true if you have even the slightest idea how camera lenses work and 2) had no conceivable motive since it would be easier to film on the lawn than on greenscreen and 3) was seen by many witnesses on the lawn

In the video, Mr. Trump was shown on the South Lawn of the White House hundreds of feet away from the mansion, but it appeared to be a digital backdrop as leaves blowing in the wind behind him could be seen repeating on a loop. Judd Deere, a White House spokesman, insisted that ‘he was definitely outside.’ Mr. Trump has not appeared before news cameras since his return from Walter Reed on Monday evening.

the new york times then silently scrubbed the paragraph supporting the conspiracy theory from their article without posting any editors note or retraction

Truly, this is the quality journalism that liberals hold in such high esteem

another lame attempt to discredit media critical of your cult leader, how refreshing. coming from a guy who unironically quotes project veritas as reliable source, lol...

Bullock said that if Coney Barrett was confirmed, he would be open to measures to depoliticize the court, including adding judges to the bench, a practice critics have dubbed packing the courts.

Framing their description of court packing within the Democrat's spin without disclaimer, while simultaneously framing the century-old neutral terminology with the framing of "critics dubbing it"
Its chillingly orwellian

It's not hard to understand. Right-wingers start with a victim mentality... then you add years/decades of the media they consume telling them the fact-based media is biased, they're all liberals, liberals hate you... then you have a president come along who has a scandal every other day and fact-based outlets cover it accurately(which entails covering it negatively).

It's 95% of that... maybe 5% involves legitimate criticism.

What's funny to me is Trump's criticism of the media is much like right-wing criticism has been for years... superficial and unsophisticated. There's reasonable critiques of the fact-based media... and Trump almost never makes those arguments. He's not intellectually capable of it.

And the circular logic runs rampant.

Look folks... nothing up this sleeve, nothing up the other sleeve....
